Hi, I’m Dr. Kevyn Tracy.

I’m a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and the founder of SpirituallyFIT Psychiatry, a practice rooted in empathy, cultural integrity, and spiritual alignment.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University and have worked in a range of clinical settings. As one of the few Black professionals in the field, with only 2% of

psychiatrists identifying as Black. I’m passionate about increasing representation and offering care that is culturally informed, spiritually grounded, and clinically sound.

Through SpirituallyFIT Psychiatry, I’ve created a space where healing is holistic, empowering, and accessible, especially for those who often feel unseen or misunderstood in traditional mental health environments.

More About Dr. Kevyn Tracy

  • I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Columbia University. I’ve trained and worked across diverse clinical environments, treating individuals from all walks of life with compassion and clinical excellence.

    My experience includes:

    • Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy

    • Trauma-informed care in high-stress settings

    • Coaching and support for high-achieving professionals, students, and athletes

I combine my clinical training with deep cultural awareness and spiritual insight — offering care that treats the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

  • Growing up, mental health wasn’t something we talked about, and when we did, it often came with stigma or silence. As I advanced through my education and career, I realized how few providers looked like me, understood my experiences, or practiced from a place of cultural and spiritual depth.

    That realization became my mission:

To create a space where mental health care is affirming, accessible, and transformative, especially for Black and Brown communities who are often underserved or misunderstood.

Representation matters. So does feeling safe, seen, and supported.

  • I specialize in supporting clients navigating:

    • Workplace burnout and trauma

    • Academic stress and overwhelm

    • Anxiety, mood disorders, and identity-related stress

    • Performance pressure in sports and high-achieving environments

Whether working 1:1 or in group or organizational settings, my approach blends evidence-based strategies with emotional and spiritual intelligence. I support clients in reconnecting with themselves, developing healthier patterns, and building emotional resilience.

  • When you work with me, you can expect:

    • A safe, nonjudgmental space

    • Care that honors your culture, identity, and beliefs

    • A collaborative, personalized plan

    • Practical tools rooted in science and soul

Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. My job is to meet you where you are — and walk beside you as you grow, shift, and heal.
